To see the lava flow at Kilauea, one must hike 2 miles each way to get to the current glowing flow. Here we are after finally making it back to the ranger station following nearly 4 hours later. June 5th 2001.

Christina and her folks in the ICU following her successful surgeries. Our travels have taken us many places, but we must always remember that no matter where we go, whether it be to the top of the Alps or in a Phoenix hospital, we cherish every moment. January 8th, 2001.
The long journey of recovery begins. Here we are going home after 3 weeks in the hospital. Christina's faith and heart never failed her in this journey. We continue to remember our traveled paths and look to God to guide us forward. January 23rd, 2001.
